G.A.T.A. IV Participates in the 18th Annual Battle of the Alamo Basketball Classic and posts a 3 and 1 record, March 30th thru April 1st, 2007

G.A.T.A. IV begins tournament play in the wrong age division (10U) and withdraws and replaces a [no-show] team in the combined 12U and 13U division.

The change in divisions came with a one-loss penalty moving G.A.T.A. IV automatically into the losers bracket. G.A.T.A. IV advances thru the losers bracket with a forfeit-win and two great wins to ultimately lose to a good 13U San Antonio Hawks team. G.A.T.A. IV posted its first official tournament win against the 13U Laredo Reckless Hoops team by a 15 plus point margin. G.A.T.A. IV's second win came at the expense of the 13U San Antonio Jayhawks posting a 10 point win margin (a well coached team with inside size and good post play). G.A.T.A. IV’s tournament run ended at the hands of a well-coached and big 13U team - The San Antonio Hawks. All in all, G.A.T.A. IV management learned a valuable lesson “ Always double check the age divisions!”. G.A.T.A. IV competed very well against older and taller teams.
