G.A.T.A. IV Places 2nd in the 2007 AAU South Texas National Qualifier in San Antonio, TX, May 11th - 13th


G.A.T.A. IV begins pool play against a local rival the 12U San Antonio Ro-Hawks, The Ro-Hawks feature a quick and accurate backcourt with a tall and nimble frontcourt. G.A.T.A. IV had the head-to-head play (1-0) beating them in a Gulf Coast Blue Chips tournament in Houston early this season.

G.A.T.A. IV again led the match-up posting an easy wire-to-wire 60 - 29 victory over the SA Ro-Hawks. This 31-point margin of victory was the largest margin of victory since their first encounter. G.A.T.A. IV’s second pool game was also a run-away having G.A.T.A. IV beating the A.L.S.M. Saints 50-20 giving G.A.T.A. IV the number one seed and a first round bye. G.A.T.A. IV again faced the SA Ro-Hawks in the championship game. This time the game came down to the last two seconds, with the game tied at 45-45 and 12 seconds left in regulation the SA Ro-Hawks held the ball until the last two second and attempted a three point shot that was whistled a foul giving them three attempts at the charity line to win the game. The SA Ro-Hawks sank 1 out of 3 to gain a one-point advantage and the win.
